Mission & Values

From the beginning, we are committed to making strategic business decisions that positively affect the operations, performance, growth, and sometimes survival of your organization. Our mission is to strive for excellence, through efficient and productive measures.

The firm is committed to sustainable, ethical practices and behavior, and a policy of corporate social responsibility including local development of people, the environment and other resources.

History

MCCG-Guyana is a 25 year old alliance of firms providing professional services in Guyana, the United States, Africa, the Caribbean and South America. The firms trace their history back to 1920 in Guyana when John Martin along with local miners (Martin, Viera, Motley, Eytle) started their first commercial venture at Banana Landing.

Later John’s sons Freson and Wilfred established themselves as the principal suppliers to the US Air Corps in Guyana during WWII and subsequently as the Owners of the First Sanitary Laundry in Guyana and the owners of the Tree Light Cafe on the family property in Charlestown.

In the 1970's, MCCG’s predecessor company introduced international contractors and worked on project development teams for the multi-million MMA, Tapacuma, and Mabura projects in the counties of Demerara, Essequibo, and Berbice.

The business opened in the US in 1980's and MCCG was started in 1990 in New York, providing management consulting, project management, and international business services. In 2000, ARVO was started as a commercial real estate affiliate to the company. In 2015, MCCG added oil & gas and agricultural services to its list of offerings.

Corporate Social Responsibility

(CSR) Corporate Social Responsibility is central to our existence as a Guyanese Company. Our policy is that we will promote responsible and ethical business practices and behavior and that we will advocate environmental and social responsibility including a workplace free from racism, prejudice and discrimination and encourage activities that preserve and sustain the land, rivers and waters in and around Guyana and the environment.
